Fairy Tales Great Food for The Imagination

I wanted to write a bit today on how much I believe in a child using him/hers imagination. I feel

like  today things have gotten so far out of hand with kids and giving them all the games and devices

and electronics that they do not get the chance to use the imagination and truly get into the play of

things. Busy lifestyles force us to not spend the time in the imaginative worlds with our children

because well, we are busy. It is so easy to let this important thing fall through the cracks.

Imagination is so important to a child's growth and understanding and just becoming a strong

independent grown up one day.

I feel that kids do not get the opportunities to use their imaginations enough! That is why I feel

fairy tales are a great way to give them imaginative. What child does not love watching their favorite

fairy tale unfold or feeling like they are the most beautiful princess just like the famous Disney

Princess', or better yet  BEING their favorite Princess on stage and capturing the photos to prove it!

I found a great article    Here     that talks of the wonderful things fairy tales can do for children. One

of  the smartest men we know knew it years ago as his famous quote stated:

"If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more

intelligent, read them more fairy tales." Albert Einstein

I would add to let them BE in Fairy Tales as well to that list. I see the eyes sparkle as they are on

stage getting their photos done and being as close to the character in their minds as they possibly

can.  I see those smiles and the lit up faces as I take their photos. They bring the character to life in

their own unique ways and their personalities shine through in the photos.

 I love capturing these precious

moments that seem to fade way too fast in this fast paced world we live in. They are little but for a

short time and then we turn around and they are all grown up. Then before we know it they are

married and have babies of their own. Too fast it passes us by... Let us let them be little, let them

shine, let them sparkle, let them be a child, Let them be innocent,Let them be a queen or Princess for

that moment. Let their imaginations soar and BE what they want to BE even if for a moment. You

will never regret giving them that time and that moment and you and they can remember that special

moment for the rest of you're lives.... Enjoy today! We are not promised tomorrow..... Let us love

fairy tales, Let us live fairy tales, let us imagine!

Super Hero Pollution Buster To The Rescue

Super Hero

As you all know I am in school. I have a project this class to cover the pollution of the elements of

nature... at least three of them anyway, (smiles) This is a subject dear to my heart as I feel we are not

conscience of the things we are doing to our earth. Anyway I decided to cover this issue and put a bit

of a Pamela spin on things. This week we talked about the earth element and we got some fantastic

footage of "Super Pollution Buster" Super hero busting pollution and putting that stuff where it goes

. He is master of cleaning up Pollution from the earth. He took his super power very seriously and he

produced more work in an hour than I have gotten from him in weeks! (Giggles) He did a terrific job

at his new super hero duties and I am very proud of my son! Way to Go Super Pollution Buster! Here

are a few photos from our efforts!
